On applying, points are awarded based on Qualification, Previous earnings, UK experience, Age, English language skills and Maintenance funds.
Point required to qualify:
- 75 points for your attributes (Age, Qualifications, Previous earnings, and UK experience);
- 10 points for English language;
- 10 points for maintenance (funds).

Outside the UK
These will be awarded if applying for entry clearance and have £2,800 in available funds. The £2,800 should be in the account for at least three months before applying.
